2017 End of the Year Celebration
On June 17, 2017 20 students celebrated the end of the school year playing and exploring the great outdoors. Students participated in games and activities that focused around conservation efforts, recycling and all around respect and responsible practices for making the world and better place.
2017 Green Halloween Celebration
On October 30, 2017 Sinclair Lane Elementary School invited all the students, caregivers and teachers to celebrate being environmentally conscious with it's first annual Green Halloween. During the week leading up to the celebration, students of Sinclair Lane posted fliers around the school encouraging students to make costumes from reused or recycled materials, to trick-or-treat with reusable bags (pillow cases!), and to consider donating any extra candy to charity.
2018 End of the Year Celebration
On June 5, 2018 the Green Club will be taking a field trip to Irvine Nature Center. Students will explore multiple habitats that are sensitive to pollution. They will apply what they learned throughout the year to this new, hands on experience in nature. Afterwards they will participate in a celebration.
